The 2019 Practical Auxiliary Ventilation Workshop, held in Timmins, was a monumental success. We had 22 participants from ABC Ventilation Systems; Alamos Gold; Barrick Gold; Glencore; Howden; Kidd Operations; Kirkland Lake Gold; McEwen; Provincial Doors; Tahoe Resources and Technica Mining. A Field Survey Exercise was held at Bell Creek Mine and a very successful Manufacturer Information Session was held, with presenters from ABC Ventilation Systems, G+ Plastics, Howden, Hurley Ventilation Technologies, Rocvent Inc. and SimSmart Technologies. Sponsorship support was provided by ABC Ventilation Systems, G+ Plastics, Hurley Ventilation Technologies and Rocvent Inc. The 2022 Practical Auxiliary Ventilation Workshop will be held in Sudbury.
We presented 4 papers at the 17th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium in Montreal (2019). It was nice seeing so many colleagues at the symposium! We participated in and presented a paper at the 18th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium in South Dakota (2021).
