AirFinders has been providing Ventilation Services to Rio Tinto’s Diavik Mine since 2011. Rio Tinto has awarded a new contract with Diavik Mine, taking us through to the end of operations. We are excited to build on established ventilation achievements and look forward to continue to deliver quality ventilation services into 2026.
AirFinders has given a number of its popular industry Ventilation Training courses at different mine sites in 2024 and are currently taking bookings for the second quarter of 2025. AirFinders has been providing regular Ventilation Services to Eldorado Gold’s Olympias Mine in Greece since 2021. Eldorado Gold has extended our contract into the end of 2025 and we are excited to continue our strong collaborative partnership, ensuring positive underground ventilation achievements for Olympias Mine.

The workshop, held in Sudbury, was a monumental success. We had 22 participants from ABC Ventilation Systems; Agnico Eagle; Alamos Gold Inc.; Kirkland Lake Gold; Lakeshore Gold; Mecanicad; Mine & Flows; Newmont; Synergy Controls Corporation; Vale Canada Ltd. and West Red Lake Gold Mines.
Field Survey Activities were held at NORCAT Underground Training Center.
A very successful Manufacturer Information Session was held, with 8 presenters from ABC Ventilation Systems; G+ Plastics; Howden; Hyperflo; Maestro Digital Mine; Mecanicad; Rocvent Mine and Tunnel Ventilation and Zitron.

We presented 4 papers at the 17th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium in Montreal (2019); we participated in and presented a paper at the 18th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium in South Dakota (NAMVS 2021) and presented a paper at the 19th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium in South Dakota (NAMVS 2023). We offered a workshop and presented a paper at the 2024 International Mine Ventilation Congress in Sydney, Australia (IMVC 2024). We will be participating in the 20th North American Mine Ventilation Symposium in Pittsburgh in 2025.
